Well I finally got around to finishing the swirl bowl. If you check out my prior project, I had all the rings laid out in different configurations and asked which one I should make. This is the final result. It is 13 ½” in dia. and 12” tall. I added a Peruvian Walnut base and a Peruvian Walnut, Mesquite, Maple & Birch Veneer rim on top.

These “Swirlies” continue to BLOW MY MIND.
That is an Absolutely AWESOME piece of work.
I am trying to convince myself to have a go at one of these, and I will soon. You have inspired me to get into action.

Thank you for showing this.

Bob

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

This is outstanding….really love the swirls…

My only comment is the top rim could use a little something more

This bowl is absolutely beautiful and it’s so creative and unusual.
