This is a redwood name plate I made with my 9 year old daughter Ruthie. She helped make some of the initial cuts and I did the rest. I surprised her by putting on a frame and then filling the open sections with glow in the dark epoxy . The name plate now glows at night and it turned out great…could not get a picture to come our with glowing.

Nice sign, it would be nice to see it in the dark.

Cool, Matt! I never saw the glow epoxy, thanks for the heads up.

Bet it was fun have your daughter helping with the sign.

Well done master Yoda. Soon your young protégé will be tackling mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery. Dare I say the epoxy idea was brilliant?!?
