Umbrella handle

This umbrella had one of those soft jelly handles which broke and started oozing out the goo. So I made a handle for it out of some old barn pine. I augered out a few holes then used rasps to get the final shape, then coated it with BLO.

The old time rasp is still a shop friend!

Nice work and I am positive thsa it feels/looks better than the plastic thing had!
