Hey Guys,
I just completed another small bowl made from Myrtle and River Redgum.
Dimensions: 183mm diameter x 87mm high. Wall thickness approximately 5/8”

I have many offcuts and random shorts full of defects such as checks, splits, bug holes etc etc. So I glued a few of them up into blocks of “whatever” size. This is the result of one of those blocks. The blank is 3 layers. The top layer is the River Redgum, and the bottom two layers are Myrtle. Finished with EEE Ultra-shine and Shellawax.

I really like the thick walled look, and it feels nice and weighty and solid when you pick it up. A good user bowl.

Looking Good Mate,
Great colour contrast.

It’s a beautiful bowl with wonderful wood.
