This is the sofa table that I built for my wife. It is cherry hardwood and cherry plywood with a walnut interior border on the table top and the shop made drawer handles. Although normal Ying and Yang would be equal light and dark, I like just a touch of opposing colors. Also, first time that I used a bead detail around drawer openings. Finish is one coat of lacquer and two coats of polyurethane. Finished this project the first week of January. Wife was hoping to have it by Christmas, but sometimes other things have to be done first.
