Flag Case

Project by Muzhik posted 800 days ago 529 views 1 time favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Here is a case I made for a friend. She was presented a flag that rode in the cockpit of an F-15 on a mission during the opening days of OIF. The bottom part of the case holds the certificate that came with the flag.

The case is mahogany and the top two pieces that hold the folded flag are lacewood. The inlays are curly maple and bloodwood.

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic work on the inlays! This is on her brag wall, no doubt :).

I think this great! It’s hard to display a Canadian flag, I’m a little jealous as I’d like to make one of these. Nice job!
