Here is a case I made for a friend. She was presented a flag that rode in the cockpit of an F-15 on a mission during the opening days of OIF. The bottom part of the case holds the certificate that came with the flag.
The case is mahogany and the top two pieces that hold the folded flag are lacewood. The inlays are curly maple and bloodwood.

I think this great! It’s hard to display a Canadian flag, I’m a little jealous as I’d like to make one of these. Nice job!
