I wanted to build a table from reclaimed wood. My wife heard of this place that sells reclaimed wood as well as wood from trees that fell becuase of storms or cut down by the city etc. They had a load of old growth hemlock that was reclaimed from the old Toronto harbour. Amazing wood with beautiful textures, colors and grain.

The top is old growth hemlock, the legs old growth pine. The finish is tung oil and polyurethane

I love this! I would love to make a table just like this if my girlfriend is patient enough for me to find the wood.
