This is a bedroom suite for a nursery for a baby boy that was born in August. The nursery theme is vintage airplanes tastefully decorated!! This bedroom suite mimics the style of an old style trunk with the leather handles and corner and side hardware. This suite will complete the vintage look in the nursery. A matching bed will be made in the near future!

The pieces feature all solid poplar construction with solid wood drawers and dovetail construction. The drawer handles are real leather handles which help authenticate the look. The corner and side hardware is held on with upholstery nails giving the overall look a masculine feel. The finish is a multistep process and is heavily distressed. It is finished with 3 coats of a satin acrylic poly sprayed on. The young man will enjoy his new furniture in due time!!!

Quite clever … I love the look! Keep up the good work! Perhaps some vintage destination/shipping decals/stickers (??)

Again great job!

Thank you all!!

Ron Aylor - I suggested doing something like that but my client only wanted it as presented. I agree with you though, it would look great with some vintage signs on there!!!
