1st photo pattern

Now trying to learn to make patters from photos. would like someone to make a pattern from this picture so i can see what i need to change, see my errors etc. on the pattern i did not clean all the black floaters or fill all the white spaces. Please help and Thanks

I bought a program called Coyote Stencil and it works great. The price is around $80 but it makes great patterns. You can make the patterns then, there is a tool that will show you the peices that would fall out. There is also a tool that will show you what it would look like in wood. I beleive there is a demo program you can download to try it out. Here is the address:

I take you are trying to make a scroll saw pattern? I use two different programs to do this, Photo to sketch and then Corel Paint. And of course I really quickly did it. It would take a few hours to finely tune in the picture. To really get in detail, you cannot really rely on the program. You have to get in there and got pixel by pixel. Not all pictures work well, you’d need contrasting shadows to bring out detail. You can go here to see what I did after several hours and patience can do for a portrait:
