This is a custom storage shelf unit made with metal and wood. The unit comes in 5 pieces and is moveable if need be. The metal work is custom and fabricated and finished by me to make it look like a completely reclaimed and recycled. The 4 door panels are 24 gauge sheet steel laminated onto quarter inch plywood. The custom door and drawer pulls are made of solid steel stock and welded and finished. The middle section metal shelf rack is made from 1 inch steel. All of the metal was rusted using a chemical process which creates the natural look and not a fake manmade look. The rust is real and is sealed so it won’t get everwhere. It really makes the project and is a perfect finish and overall look. It all looks like it was picked up from a salvage or repurposed!!! All of the metal work was fabricated from brand new metal and my client wanted it to look like it was repurposed from old metal and other vintage pieces.

I used new lumber and distressed it to look like reclaimed lumber to help stay within my clients budget. The wood color and finish is a 6 step process and a two tone color combo. It has the look and texture of reclaimed lumber. The bookcase on the end completes the unit and will be perfect for the kids’ books. Overall measurements are 12 feet long, 7 feet tall, and 16 inches deep. They will enjoy this and hopefully have lots of family time with the games and memories that it will hold. Have a great day!!!

I love that rusting. Really cool.
