This is my wife’s design and finish. You could call it a lot of things . I call it very colorful. The back is actually a piece of fabric glued to a sheet of 1/4 ” plywood . Thanks for looking…..........Rick

Obviously designed by a woman without a woodworking-look in mind… She just let it GO and designed something she Liked! ... and did a very good job!
... after all, what woodworker would Finish the Back like that? LOL (most of us would just slap a finish on it, if any, & let it be… no ones going to “see it”... ) LOL

My first thought was Wallpaper… close… :)

COOL job!

The Customer is always Right… especially the Wife… :)
... You did a great job for her!

Thank you!

very cool design. I like the colors too. It’s an interesting Idea. Our house has a great room, lots of space, very open but no walls for furniture. This could be a way to move stuff out into the room and have it look good?

That is a very nice piece. Good use of the fabric as a finish.
