This is my first attempt at a band saw box. It started as the same shape as my votive candle holder here, http://lumberjocks.com/projects/254082 It was also my first attempt at flocking. It turned out ok. There are some flaws that are visible but a good first attempt. The wood is walnut and pine and the finish is wipe on poly.

Very nice. I had never thought of flocking the inside of the shell. Far less tedious sanding where hands don’t fit so well. What a great idea.
