This is the second in a series of segmented turnings featuring Tee Pee’s. I’ve entitled this piece “Camp II”. The body of the vessel (brown) is Rambutan. The Tee Pee’s are made of yellow heart, purple heart, red heart, paduak, ebony and various veneers all set in a background of holly. The piece consists of 1,638 pieces. Hope you enjoy it.

This gives completly different meaning to segment turning. Amaizing number of parts. Veneer work is astonish. I like the native motive.

Terrific segmented piece, very good workmanship. Making of the feature ring took a lot of work and talent congratulations on your beautiful vase. P.S. Ivan it is not veneer.
