This toy wagon shows a pelican perched on a dock watching as a hungry fox stalks a rabbit.
The brass fly balls have lead weights inside. They “fly out” as they spin around when the cart is pushed. This provides momentum and keeps it rolling for a while.
The base is a slab of manzanita burl. The animals are manzanita also. Brass balls and flywheel. About 12” tall.

Always new interesting move, movements. But I’m more impressed with set up scene and animals which looks so authentic and realistic.

This piece is quite whimsical and has character. I like it.
