Its all made from Maple. Now that its finished I am wishing that I had made the top from some different woods. After seeing some of the wild designs on many of the otherlumber jocks cutting boards, this one looks pretty plain.
I have started putting on mineral oil to the top. It can sure soak up a lot.

There’s something to be said for a cutting board top that doesn’t make you cross-eyed…

Very good design – the dimensions are perfect. Also love the bottom shelf – very good workmanship.
