Got my idea from here and made a few changes.

Legs are removable via hanger bolts and brass inserts.
Finish is Teak oil then spray shellac. rubbed it with green Scotchbright and then a magic eraser. Helps knock down the gloss while still being shiny.
Not shown are some shims I made from craft foam and plastic. They level the legs fairly well; the foam acts almost like a bellville washer.
