Here is a bookcase that I made awhile back for a friend. The bottom molding is held on with rare earth magnets and has 2 drawers behind it.

Very cool Jim (feels like I’m talking to myself) any how I like the Asian mid century feel plus those o so tricky hidden drawers.neat

Very nice. What type of lumber did you use? I also like the hidden drawers. I am a fan of hidden compartments and drawers in my work.

I used plywood and MDF since the piece is painted.
