My second segmented bowl, but fourth overall. First time I have worked with Ebony, which was slightly nerve-wracking due to the cost. I also built a simple press to help glue up the different layers, which worked really well. The bowl is about 8” in diameter, is made out of Walnut, Padauk and Ebony and is finished with Danish Oil.

That’s a really good lookin’ bowl. Really like how it looks with the Danish Oil finish.

Nice bowl, I like the colour contrast and the beaded highlights.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
