Wanted to share with you guys one of my favorite chair designs. This one was done three weeks ago. Sorry for not posting more often.

The back rest of this chair flexes as with some of my chairs. I hatched the idea from the principle of the bow.
The backrest is laminated steambent balayong wood and goes through the seat to also function as the back leg. The seat is hand sculpted top and bottom from saray wood. Front legs are made from yakal. The stretchers are iron wood (dungon) I just love it when aesthetics, function (ergonomics) and structural soundness gel into one.

Have a great weekend guys!

Benji….the chair is awesome but I can’t help but admire the bench (?) that it is sitting on…Wow!
But, back to the chair, what is on the bottom of the front legs? If you need a place to store this
or any of your other creations…I’ve got room!!

Great concept and your usual excellent execution Benji. I’m with the others …. perfect!
