This is a quartersawn white oak welcome sign that I made for the entrance of our house. I used motawi tiles as the accent pieces, along with ebony plugs. To make the welcome portion, I used a CNc router for the first time, then dyed some epoxy with black rit dye that I got at a hobby store to make the letters black.

Nice effect on this project, it turned out great. I have some Motawi tiles to frame some day, but the shop is full with another project at the moment.

Great project, thanks for posting.
