I don’t know why I’m posting these. Not really to gloat but because I’m bored. Not much going on ya know. Anyhow, here is another kitchen. Cabinets are Alder and Paint grade. As always I welcome constructive criticism, positive or negative.

I wish I had this much house to put this much kitchen in!

The cabinetry and masonry work are quite superb and the layout is quite spacious and functional. I’m not quite sure about the combination of rich, dark refined wood and the bleached wood together. The bleached/white washed wood almost resembles stone, but I think the look is a bit too rustic for the dark cabinets and the modern chair legs. Maybe a touch of red/brown streaking would blend them all together. Despite this, it’s a MARVELOUS kitchen that I wouldn’t mind having access to.

I wanted to express the name of a christian deity when I first clicked on your post – it’s so incredible! I am not a fan of the whitewashed or pickling look but the way you did it makes it all look so surreal and artful.

ok, constructive critism coming your way… only main complaint is the title doesn’t match the actual pics…
that is one M#$%^ F#^%@ NICE Kitchen… So the title, “Just a kitchen” is not adequate… I would say perhaps: “One of the nicest Kitchens – EVER”
anyways, just my thoughts on that… oh yea, the build… very nice… extremely nice… you get the point…

Hi Keith

I am sure you gave the customer what they wanted but I do not like the white cabinets at all. LOL Nothing against you and your work because you are an outstanding craftsman.

God Bless

This is a gorgeous kitchen. I tend to agree with Tom about the painted cabinets but, I just have an aversion to paint and wood. And I like taking the cabinets to the ceiling. It can make accessing the top sheves problematic for those of us who are vertically challenged. But it gives the kitchen a nice look and provides storage for seldom used items.

The floor is gorgeous, by the way. Did you do that too?
