This was an experiment in multi-axis turning. It was the first time I had also used walnut crotch wood, which was a challenge. The top and bottom are curly oak.

I can’t make head nor tails of this. Did you forget to rotate the picture or something? Is it hanging off the wall? Nice shape though.
