Hi, nice set of chairs… I like the dark stain on the oak, really stands out… nice!!!

Love the look of the “ladders” on the backs and lower back. What is the finish? Great job.

These look like great chairs. Well done. To me, it looks like they are fumed white oak. Are they?

I used a dark walnut stain, plus put some stain in the lacquer to tone it darker.I used M..L Campbell Magnamax satin lacquer.The style is inspired by Architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs, early 1900’sI added the flare to the legs, and also the matching table has flared legs.
