Taken from ShopNotes plans, this project was fun to build. I made a few minor changes but nothing major. I used 8/4poplar except for the breadboard ends and outer rails (6/4). A large front vise is on order and goes to the left of the drawers. This project was also my introduction to the hand plane. I purchased a stanlley block plane and Millers Falls jack plane (ca 1949-1954) which I refurbished. This tool proved invaluable and will continue to be a part of my woodworking experience. Thanks for looking!

Nice! Thank you for sharing. For the sake of those that wish to follow in your footsteps, what technique did you use to plane it flat?

That is an awsome looking bench. This is a tool that will give you years of service and one, that would be a welcome addition for many of us. I like the storage that you added to it as well.

Very Nice. Good benches are so cool. They really make a shop feel right.

You did well,
