Hi guys just want to share this chisel build, i had a piece of spring steel from an old truck, made the socket on a metal lathe and welded the two, hardend end temperd, and blended the weld and grind the chisel to shape, as for the handle i picked beech wood and a first planed an octagon and turned the handle to shape. Most sockets are forged but this is a way if you have acces to a lathe and a welder.

Cheers.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. Interesting design for the chisel, and well done.
