Black walnut, 16”x24”. This one has a permanent home in the kitchen. Wife loves it. Hand-cut box joints. I see the screw-ups, but others don’t seem to. Finish is wiped on satin poly, rubbed out with steel wool.

Great tray. My wife uses one all the time. I’ve started but never completed one. (Like many projects)

It does look great, we use serving trays all the time. I just have not made one yet. Another project on the long train of project lists.

Simple, but beautifull! Great finish, and great wood selection.

Gorgeous. Don’t you love how the right cut and finish can make something so pleasing to the eye and touch? Do you have plans you’d like to share? What was the design from? How many top coats did it take?

This is a very late comment but… You have a beautiful tray there with an excellant selection of wood and design. Great work!
