This is a tribute to the lake I love to fish in.
A crane flies overhead. The fish swim in a frenzied circle as the cart is pushed.
A daredevil lure is snagged on the log and a turtle is coming up for air.
This works with a simple friction wheel on the back axle that makes the turntable spin.
About 13” tall.
Manzanita burl base, basswood bird, fish and turtle , brass rods, acrylic paint

Awesome project. The whole thing is great, but the lure stuck in the log really makes it look like an actual fishing hole. The burl base is beautiful also. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting and just got to love it.
That daredevil lure is snagged on the log just made me shiver.
I used to black water dive in the tennessee and coosa rivers and have snagged a lose jig on my hand and had to get someone to pull it out, can you say OUCH!!!

It’s very creative and nicely done and I’m sure that it is a wonderful conversation piece. Nice work. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.
