Fashioned from a revolver cylinder, this is 2 hunks of Oak and laminated together, then turned round, about 3 3/4”, parting off the bottom for the base. A little carving with a Foredom and Dremal, and a big round hand file, then a bit of burning for highlights, and also added a pin so it would spin. Finished w/3 coats of waterbased Minwax Poly. Also, the center clear tube houses a bullet letter opener. (also from Oak) Thnx for checking in and giving it the good/bad/ugly. Happy Sunday.

Sweet! Glad you showed how you did the edge slots. That was the first “how’d he do that” question I had when I saw the first picture.

I HAVE A PLAN TO MAKE A LAMP WITH A SCALED 5 HOLE CYLINDER OF S&W 500. I MEASURED ONE AT THE SILVER BULLET STORE
