Bird Feeder.

I was trying to clean up my workshop but I had too much leftover wood from the last toy chest. I decided to make a bird feeder (the last one I bought was 4” x 4” x 9” tall and didn’t give out feed). I need to work on the roof area meeting the wall to eliminate the gap though.

This one is complete with bird.

Very nice use of left over wood. What finish did you use?

Very classy little house. I see lot hungry birds landing on it.

I had leftover polyurethane and put a couple of coats on it. The project took about a day but that was due to letting the glue set up between logs before the next layer. I am in the process of making a dual sided bird feeder with my grandson but, as usual, the roof is giving me an issue.

maybe ?? you can just let the logs run wild then cut to shape roof line ???
but looks good …...birds don’t care there’s a gap there …..LOL

More concerned that I don’t leave gaps for wasps. You are right, the birds don’t care.
