A Elm bowl 7” X 2 3/4” decorated band with two burnt lines either side of the decoration. The decoration is Jo-Sonja paint

nice bowl – i,ve not heard of the paint before – is it similar to Hammerite?

That is a great embellishment and provides a stunning visual. I’ve never used Jo-Sonja paints, but I do have several other brands of artists acrylics… is there anything specific about it that is different from the others? I’d like to give it a try on an upcoming bowl instead of doing an inlay (despite my aversion towards painting wood :)
