This was my first real paying furniture project. I built them out of claro black walnut, and it was a dream. i was admittedly scared to death to throw that stuff on the table saw and start sawing on it at $20 a board foot. But, it was a blast once i got going.

It doesn’t get any better than walnut and I can’t remember any better walnut than this.
