Settlers of Catan is a great board game that my family get together and play often. several expansions to the game has been released. Problem is transporting the game to family member houses. Sooooo….
I designed this maple storage box to tote around the base game with all expansions. I made a set of card holders also.

Wonderful. Are those resource card holders stored in the sides?

Yes, I had to split the card holders up to balance the case out. Realized early on that all eight on a side would cause the case to be unbalanced when carrying. And if your wondering why eight holders, I have plans on making another two sets of pieces so we can try an eight player game.

Our family is nuts about Catan and I’m really tired of having to truck around all the assorted boxes. So, I WANT one! And this would be a great project. So, please provide your dimensions. Otherwise… you might think about producing and selling these… especially at gamer’s conventions. They would go like hotcakes!

TonyS, This case is at my brothers now so I can’t get you the dimensions just yet, but, next time I am there I’ll get some measurements for you. And sorry to TomH and deNaut for not responding to your requests in a timely manner.

I love this, you don’t happen to have the plans anywhere do you? I would love to make one of these for my Settlers of Catan board game.
