This prayer kneeler was made as a birthday gift for the boyfriend of a friend of my wife. He is a devout Catholic and she wanted him to have a prayer kneeler to practice his faith. It is made from reclaimed ash and has an upholstered knee pad for comfort. She designed the kneeler and I crafted it for her. There are two rosary holders just below the arm rest and a cross on the front. All joinery was mortise and tenon joinery for a lifetime of strength and stability!

LoL. The Catholic in me recognized what that was from your thumbnail before even clicking on it. Nicely done. That is one devoted soul, I’m sure he’ll appreciate it.

It Looks a very well designed and built joint effort project.
Its not something I would use as my final prayer would be,
God give me the strength to get back up again!

Keep up the good work!
