I posted this design some times ago looking for feedback, now the project is finally finished.

The construction is all mortise and tenon, with figure 8 fasteners to hold the top on. The bottom shelf is only glued in the center like you would with breadboard ends. This is my first furniture project and I was happy with how it came out, with only a few changes to make the next time around (prefinishing mostly).

Looks like all-around solid construction and build techniques. I hope you planned on keeping it for a few lifetimes 8^)

Well done!

Thanks everyone. The table was for my sister as her Christma-Birthday present. I made a crate for it and shipped it cross country via Greyhound. I told her she’s either stuck with it for life or she has to give it back to me, no craigslist allowed

The finish is several coats of Arm-R-Seal semi gloss.

Great looking A&C table—I’m sure your sister will really appreciate and enjoy it!
