Annual Fall Festival – Pinewood Derby Car Race

Here is a link to my digital files on what I used to create pinewood derby cars for my son’s school.
I started by creating rectangles that are drawn to scale.
For the parents to sketch their designs on.
I would then either cut them out and trace the outlines onto the blocks of pinewood or draw right on them.
Each year that I volunteered I did a little more as I learned from other dads the secretes to building fast winning cars.

Anyone with the link can view or download the images, .pdf files to design your own.

Some great looking cars! I’m sure the kids had a blast.

Thanks for your comment. Now I will research subversive physics.
I didn’t realize that this web site was also a blog. So many projects are still in my external hard drive files.

Opps My mistake make that subliminal Physics.
There is heaps of information available throughout the site, along with loads of projects on just about every aspect of woodworking, and blogs/links associated with them in most cases.
Its just a matter of searching around!
