Just putting a few of my lamps on the same project to save space. Just thought someone might like them. There are made from spanish oak, mesquite, black walnut, cedar Don’t tell anyone I raided their wood pile. Hope its not a cold winter.

Nice work! I was thinking of trying a few of these myself. Where do you get the hardware? And are they top heavy or do you weight them at the base? How in the world did you string wire through the one with three branches?

Great lamps! I am curious how you strung the wire through the lamp with three branches as well. Very clever idea.

These are great. I presume you turned them?

Very nice. I too would like to know how you wired the 3 headed lamp. I’m also curious about how you drilled a hole up the middle on the others. Did you use a long drill bit (perhaps coming from both ends) or did you use an auger on your lathe or did you do something else.

I ask because I have had terrible luck with the auger approach and eight stitches in my head from when I tried it last.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes I rough turned on metal lathe first as the balance is so off makes wood lathe walk around the room. I have 26 inch long drill bits and you use the back side for drilling holes drill straight thru then use the exit hole and drill to the next point, after finished used wire to pull power cords thru. When finished just fill holes in back with wood filler stain and finish. You can’t even see the wholes in mesquite. As for drilling thru the other lamps for power cord I clamp in a floor drill press and drill as deep as I can then take out and finish on floor holding with knees and using the longer drills works great no accidents yet. Need to go slow and clean out hole allot or drill wanders and comes out where ever.
