Hi I have been carving for a year now, I use a ron wells knife and am having so much fun carving this is my first atempt at a scene hope you like him .Any comments good or bad are welcome. There are many things I would do different on my next scene but im pleased with how he came out. I did not make a patten just started an had fun and he’s who emerged and his buddys . pan

Great work! Love the scale of the “creatures” – Wouldn’t want to meet the taller one in a dark alley though – even a not-so-dark alley! ;-)

Are the rocks real?

This is great. I love what you have shared here it is so creative!

The texture of the carving and color goes well with the subject.

The balance feels pretty good and it is just overall interesting to look at. There is so much for the eyes to feast on.

Just seeing this makes me smile.

I am glad to see something like this since much of woodworking is based on basic boxes and curves (including my projects.)

I love this guy! You’ve really done a good job putting a “mood” on him. So many carvings that I see look “flat” or “blank” to me. Not this guy! He’s got style.

This prompted me to take a look at some of your other projects. Awesome! PLEASE PLEASE keep carving and posting your results. You’ve got a real talent that I want to see more of.
