This beautiful walnut was installed on a built in bar / nook. The base was existing and there was a granite or marble top before the walnut.

The thickness is 1 3/4 inches and is perfect for the space. I templated the top like a counter top shop would to ensure a perfect fit. The finish is 2 coats of dewaxed shellac followed by 3 coats of a satin acrylic poly sprayed on. I find this very simple process really showcases the natural beauty of walnut.

The top just begs to be touched!!!!!

That is a good lookin’ top. Looks like it fits just right in that space as well.

This is much better version and perfect match with white cabinet fronts.
