This is a birthday gift for my son, he is turning 10 in february. He told me that he’d like a pocket watch to wear with his Sunday suit.

Walnut, hard maple & padauk. Finished with 6 coats of Minwax wipe on poly. The clock and chain are from Woodcraft.

I was going to just make it out of the padauk but I was afraid it wood look like a stop sign.

2 1/8” x 1/2”

Tools used; Table saw, jointer, planer, router table & drill press.

This is my Yin Yang entry. As this is a sunday watch I want you to notice how the “good” light wood compliments the “evil” dark wood.

Thanks for looking, Bake.
