Well I needed a mallet…so I made one out of scapes laying around. Turned out almost too pretty to hit my chisel with;)

I like it! Also, it looks like it has faces with different densities. This could come in handy depending on the material you are trying to chisel!

Thanks all…I never thought about the difference in wood densities beyond the fact that they are both very hard…Cool idea!!

LoL. I always think that when I see the mallets guys make on here! Seriously great looking mallet and I love the last pic…..looks like a clamp bomb about to explode! :)
