I had been wanting to make a Trestle Table for a while and here is the result. Nothing to fancy but turned out pretty fair. The Bread board ends seem to be the hardest part on this project for some reason. As they say the pictures don’t it justice. Not the joinery, the grain in the top. I wish I had finished in Danish oil first, Did this one in poly and not as happy with that. The plan came from an old Shaker Furniture book my family has had for years.

The wood is gorgeous. Try tried and true Danish oil – it cures and can be top coated in 8 hours and it looks fantastic!
