My son-in-law needed something to hold his current reading materials, provide a place to accomodate refreshments and hold the various video remotes, while watching tv, so the two of us designed this piece. He has been very pleased with it. It is constructed of both 3/4” & 1/4” oak plywood, edge-banded with solid oak, all left over from various other shop projects. Stained with Minwax penetrating stain, then Minwax gloss polyrurethane.

Thank you, most of these are projects completed over the past 3 years or so. This magazine thingamajig is one of a kind. Zach, my son-in-law really likes it but I don’t plan to build anymore of them. Jim, the reason for the many necktie birdhouses is, well, there are a lot of birds.. Plus, I just get busy with it when I think of a new pattern to use. LOL. Thanks for the nice comments.
