I saw this bench in a fine wood working article on line. I believed they called it a modern bench. It is made from Walnut and African Mahogany with mortise and tenon joinery.

That is a beautiful and well proportioned bench. very graceful and elegant lines. should compliment any space quite well! It does look kind of modern although I wouldn’t be able to tell you why…maybe the spare proportions…do you have a link to the design?

Great bench, very elegant, I have some freinds that I wouldn’t want to sit on it though.

Very, very nice.

I like its lightness, very elegant.

Also cool to build something pretty with small quantities of lumber.
