Quick and efficient. Looks good.

You should stop now. This is how it all starts, with an innocent looking work bench that doubles as a computer stand. It’s like a gateway drug. This perfect bench will one day, after perusing LJ’s ,become “just not quite enough bench” and then it’s on to things like vises, and speaking the lingo to describe those vises and using those buzz words like “wagon vise” or “pattern makers vise” Oh, and then it’ll be…gosh that bench looks like it needs some tools on it….and quite frankly they all do. I’m sorry, you should just quit now.

It’s all over… there’s an LED shop light in the background…. I’m surprised LJ’s wasn’t on the computer screen when the pic was taken, that would have been the proverbial nail in the coffin. Wait till the DC questions start….

DO. NOT. BUY. A. LATHE.
You will spend every waking momemnt trying to figure out a way to replace anything vaguely cylindrical in your house with something you turned.

This makes a nice shop desk or work bench.
