I was asked to construct a twin bedframe for one of my technicians (I’m a pharmacist) but wasn’t given any direction. Well after getting my hands on some nice looking poplar and breaking out the Domino, a pretty solid frame came as a result! Used a GF Mahogany Gel Stain followed by a Dark Vintage Maple tinted Shellac (Transtint), then finished with 3 coats of GF Top Coat (Satin). Needless to say it fit the bill. ;) Apologies for the poor final photo—lighting was horrible.
