[Legebla ankaĆ en Esperanto]

A quick, scrap wood project. My daughter said I should make something that would hold her phone up so that she wouldn’t have to hold it while watching videos. I immediately knew what to do.

My triangle desk project is winding down, so I took some time between coats of lacquer to job these out. I grabbed a scrap of wood and cut a tilted dado on the table saw with several passes. The piece was long enough to cut out two stands. My wife might want the second one for school.

I sanded then both and finished them with Danish oil.

Nice and quick little project. I bet there will be some more orders, either from daughter’s school (or work) and from wife’s work.

Nifty idea! Mind if I borrow it to get some brownie points with my wife? :)

If so, they’re very easy to make. And a great use for scrap wood!

Feel free. I got the idea from someone else as well.

Dave, you always steal the best ideas!

This is a great little project, and one I’ll have to steal from you!

Clever idea. I have a couple of scrap pieces I didn’t want to toss. Maybe I’ll do something similar.
