Hello fellas! My name is Nick. 25 and I just picked up whittling and woodworking for the first time. I first practice project was a walking stick. Done entirely by a Husqvarna carpenters axe and Northwood’s D2 congress knife.

I’m interested in critiques, opinions, and how much you believe might be a fair price for an item like this.

Tyvm for your time,
Nick

Nick,

I’ve got zero experience in the whittling world, so can’t be of much help to you. A safe way to dip your toes in the commercial world might be to charge cost of materials plus 10$ an hour for labor and see how that sells. If it sells instantly you may be on to something and can adjust prices accordingly.
As for the piece, it looks nice. Any way you could post a couple more pics to get different perspective on the piece? The one pic is good, I’d just like to be able to see more of it! :)

VR,
Richard

Thanks for the suggestion as far as selling. Sounds fair enough by my ears.

If you click the vid.me link above in the past it will take you to a 30 second clip of the piece.

Have your say...
