This cheeseboard was made from discarded cutoffs from a water ski company. Some of the scraps had been laminated together into strips before I got them – and that determined the pattern. I added the outside Philippine Mahogany pieces, cut and re-glued the strips, and made the board. It’s about 8” square and 2” thick. The arcs were cut on a table-mounted router using a long pivot arm. The board is finished with several coats of Walnut Oil.

Really really nice. I too like the arc, the curves and the way you indented for the handles. Beautiful work.

Dave, it’s beautiful but how the hell do you know which space to move your checkers to??????
