Not a bad day at the office, three entries gaining a 1st, 2nd and Honorary Mention, total prize money $350 and
have sold the three of them. Competition was tight but the judges definitely knew their trade. What bulls..t.
Have orders for 3 lots of shells and a carved Mobius Ribbon featuring cats. Encouragement like this makes woodworking all the worthwhile. Thanks for looking – I need to get this swollen head to bed.

Congratulations Bob…...First Class Work!!!! By Gee there is some detail in these projects. Your carving also is First Class. The Animals even have the right stance. Eg: the way that middle horse has its head down looks really life like, so much so if I look again it may have galloped away. Really great work.

Regards,

Cliff.

A big head means bigger and better ideas. Well done, you deserve it.

Ya gotta luv that big head feeling. It doesn’t happen very often but when it does, it feels SSSOOOO GGOOOD.
Congratulations Mate, an excellent result.
Thanks for sharing.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Thanks for the comments and congrats. the head has gone down but already thinking of what next year will bring.
Shells have had a good run, could do a multi colored Mobius Ribbon or move on the Spriggett’s type of stuff where there is a lot of info on the net without buying the book. Here is my first attempt, very rough effort.

Bob, I gotta disagree with the judges. They all deserve a blue ribbon. It’s wondrful work.
