Bentwood Ring (Ebony)

This particular project is a ring made from a single strip of exotic Ebony using the bentwood method, without the use of power tools of any kind.

It was then hand-sanded and finished with multiple coats of a polymerized linseed oil and beeswax mix that provides durability while maintaining its understated sheen.

Unfortunately (well, not really), I’m better at ring making than I am at taking photos. Hopefully I can improve on both, as I hope to sell these in the near (/immediate) future under the name “Oliver Koan.”
